Vienna – a city of music

Vienna is primarily a city of music that has preserved and transmitted to future generations the impressive legacy of Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Strauss or Mahler, but those who visit the Austrian capital make for equally elegant architecture of buildings, for extraordinary art collections in museums or simply the quality of its restaurants.

In the central area, called the Inner Stadt, so you can see the most beautiful building of Gothic art in Vienna, Stephandom, and the Hofburg, the seat of the powerful House of Habsburg. On the Ringstrasse you will see wonderful examples of imperial architecture, with typical Jugendstil buildings, built in the last period when they lived here Freud, Klimt, Schiele and Schonberg.

Necessarily visit the Kunsthistorisches Museum, where you can see paintings by Rubens, Durer, Rembrandt, Raphael, Van Dyck, Cranach, Caravaggio, Canaletto and Titian. Another attraction is Vienna’s Schonbrunn Palace, built at the initiative of Emperor Leopold I for children is a real joy to go to the Prater, one of the largest amusement parks in Europe where there is the giant wheel called Riesenrad.
