Russia
Russia or the Russian Federation is the country with the largest area in the world, almost twice higher than Canada, which is the second country in the world that surface. Russia extends both on the European continent and the Asian, being close to the U.S., Canada, Armenia, Turkey and Japan. Many of the monuments and sights of Russia were submitted along time on the UNESCO heritage list. Old historic center of St. Petersburg, the Kremlin, Red Square in Moscow, whole historical, cultural and natural Solovetki of White Sea islands, Lake Baikal, the Altai Mountains of gold and historical and architectural ensemble of the Kazan Kremlin are just a few of them.
Moscow is the capital city, port and largest city of Russia. It is the most important economic, political and cultural center of the country. Its territory was more than 70 major educational institutions including the State University, about 700 scientific institutions, many museums, art galleries, historical monuments, parks, churches and cathedrals.
